Aug 29, 2014

The Sam Houston State University (SHSU) Innovation Plaza Master Plan, which was prepared by Broaddus Planning, was approved by the Texas State University System Board of Regents on August 29, 2014.  Upon approval, Peter Graves, Vice Chancellor for Contract Administration, said "This is a very well-conceived plan that should serve the University for years to come.  Thanks to Broaddus and the SHSU team for a successful effort."

The university is home to a unique assembly of professional development programs dedicated to criminal justice training and research that will be relocating from Main Campus to the new parcel of landreferred to as "Innovation Plaza." The vision for the SHSU Innovation Plaza is to become a hub for advancing criminal justice-focused professional education, research enterprises and academic initiatives.
