MASTER PLANNING

Texas A&M International University - Instructional Support and Library

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) engaged Broaddus Planning to program for the addition of instructional and support spaces and library renovation. TAMIU proposed to significantly increase its academic space on campus to meet a long-identified need for larger teaching spaces as class sizes grow. The project will also support a push to expand engineering programs and allow science programs to continue to expand. This building will be multi-purpose and shared by multiple colleges and departments.

Finally, the program also identified a counseling center as well as future office space for the College of Education. The central aim of the program was to establish the site and building space requirements for the new Academic Building, including facility program, site plan, conceptual cost estimate and conceptual project schedule.
