PROGRAMMING

Texas A&M University - Civil Engineering Laboratory Expansion

TAMU College of Engineering, Civil Engineering Department engaged Broaddus Planning to program an addition to replace the existing functions with, and alongside, the Concrete Materials Laboratory building. This building is scheduled for demolition in 2017. The demolition will make way for the planned green commons area and pedestrian links to the rest of the campus.

The proposed addition is sited as an extension of the two-story wing of the Civil Engineering Lab Building (CVLB). The addition is programmed to provide a replacement shop for the concrete canoe shop, the concrete aggregate storage bins, the concrete mixing area, and shell space for future development.
