The University of Texas at Brownsville & Texas Southmost College hired Broaddus to program for a new Biomedical Research and Health Professions Building on its main campus in Brownsville. The new building will be constructed in the “science” zone of the campus, as determined by the campus master plan. The building is approximately 78,800 GSF, which will provide additional laboratory and teaching space for the Biomedical Program, Emergency Response Center, expansion area for the Department of Nursing, and general use classrooms to support the Biomedical and Nursing departments.
